APWA Indiana Chapter Award's Program has been established to recognize outstanding individuals, public agencies, corporations and projects representing the best achievements in Public Works in our state.
New this year, the Purdue Road School Transportation Conference & Expo is proud to launch our Road School Industry Awards program recognizing excellence, leadership, and innovation in public works and street operations throughout Indiana. In partnership with the American Public Works Association (APWA) Indiana Chapter and the Indiana Street Commissioners Association (ISCA), we invite agencies, consultants, and peers to submit nominations for outstanding projects and professionals.
Awards include APWA’s Public Works Project of the Year (one award to be presented for projects under $5 million, and another award to be presented for projects that were $5 million or higher) and Public Works Leader of the Year, as well as ISCA’s Project of the Year, Project of the Year (In-House), and Street Commissioner of the Year.
Completed nomination forms should be submitted to the following contact person for each of our association partners as outlined below. Hard copies of the nominations for these awards will not be accepted.
- American Public Works Association (APWA) Indiana Chapter will present three awards. Nomination forms are to be emailed to Shan Gunawardena, shan.gunawardena@cityoffortwayne.org.
- Indiana Street Commissioners Association (ISCA) will present three awards. Nomination forms are to be emailed to Dustin Dillon, ddillon@warsaw.in.gov.
